January 2010 marks DRB’s 25th year in business! We’ve seen emerging technologies provide new marketing communications tools, fuel new markets and have been privileged to serve clients in diverse markets. We believe we are on the threshold of even more business growth and look forward to the challenge.

25 years of successful brand marketing

 

On January 15, 1985 Ray Brown founded DRB Partners after an 8-year stint as vice-president of Winston Advertising. Initially, Ray established a business affiliation with Gael Douglass and Fred Rosewater to launch Douglass, Rosewater and Brown (DRB). Gael and Fred were senior PR veterans. A year later, Gael and Fred retired, and transferred ownership to Ray.

This year, DRB Partners is expanding its legacy of service and marketing communications as a well-seasoned brand marketing company. Ray continues to provide leadership as founder and CEO. As the agency’s first president, Julie Oliveri is tasked with growing the firm to the next level of success.

From the beginning, Ray’s philosophy of marketing was based on customer-centric thinking, providing outstanding creative and personal account service which is still characteristic of the agency’s approach to managing our clients’ brand communications. Consequently, DRB has expanded our expertise to help clients take advantage of new opportunities associated with today’s digital media.
