Giving Back to Our Community
DRB Partners, Inc – a leading Silicon Valley based strategic marketing firm takes a fresh approach to celebrating the holidays with its employees, vendors and clients. In lieu of the traditional company holiday celebration where everybody drinks just a little too much eggnog, DRB has adopted several more meaningful and community minded ways to share in the holiday festivities. Since 1998, DRB Partners has been a part of City Team Ministries “Adopt-A-Family Program.” Each year the company sponsors a family with children that are economically disadvantaged. DRB and its employees are then able to help bring some Christmas cheer to this family by providing them with a Christmas tree or house gift, Christmas dinner, and at least one toy for each child. DRB gives each of its employees up to $50 to spend on their child, and they can purchase more items on their own if they choose. It is a great way to help a family in need, and it also gives employees a sense of community and philanthropy at the holidays.

In addition, DRB hosts a “holiday wrap party,” where business associates can stop by on their lunch hour to help wrap the presents for the adopted family. DRB provides pizza, holiday music and drinks and everyone pitches in to help make a difference in a family’s Christmas.

In order to get their clients involved in this spirit of giving, each year at Thanksgiving the DRB staff makes a list of their favorite national and local charities, and sends this list along with a holiday card to each of their clients. They are then able to select the charity of their choice and DRB Partners makes a $100 donation in their name.

DRB has gotten a great response from their clients, employees and vendors because it gives them a chance to give back at the holidays and be a part of something meaningful, rather than just the same old tired company Christmas party.
